As part of our Africa topic, Mrs Daley (Emma) told us all about her time spent visiting Tanzania and taught us a song that the children would sing before going to school. We also tasted ‘ugali’ and beans; which is a popular African dish. Thank you Emma.

  • A wonderful surprise! Last Tuesday, we had such a lovely surprise when the weekly 106 bus pulled in front of school and a lady stepped off and handed Miss Tickner an envelope at lunchtime at the wall. She boarded back on the bus and waved at everyone as the bus tooted off. Inside the envelope was a heartfelt card ... thanking the children for waving every week as the bus passed. She said it made her so happy and now all the bus passengers wave too. The letter said someone had been kind to her recently and returned her lost purse. Keen to pass the kindness on, she gave us a donation to buy something for school. The staff and children were delighted and very moved. (The staff shed a few happy tears! ) So ... today we thought we would say thanks. #caringforothers
  • A sneaky peak at our wonderful Superhero Capes! Here’s a sneaky look at our superhero capes! The children have worked very hard at home to create amazing designs. We look forward to welcoming you to our Superhero Fashion Show and dance tomorrow at 9:15am in our school hall.
