KS2 Residentials
From September 2026, we will be offering an annual Key Stage 2 residential programme for pupils in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. Each year will provide a different opportunity for adventure, exploration and learning beyond the classroom, with a varied programme of outdoor experiences and cultural visits.
Our planned residential programme is as follows:

2027 – Edinburgh: A cultural and historical visit, exploring famous landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile.

2028 – Outward Bound: An outdoor adventure residential at either Hawse End or Lockbie Manor, where pupils will take part in challenging and exciting activities designed to develop teamwork, resilience, confidence and problem-solving skills.

2029 – Liverpool: A city-based residential offering opportunities to explore the city’s rich history, culture and attractions.

2030 – Crag Pond: An outdoor adventure residential with The Wilderness Company, where pupils will participate in a range of adventurous activities that encourage teamwork, independence, resilience and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
These annual residentials will provide pupils across Key Stage 2 with memorable experiences that enrich their learning, build confidence and independence, strengthen friendships and create lasting memories. Each trip will offer something unique, supporting pupils’ personal and social development as they progress through the school.
