  • organise events to help raise money for school, for local and national charities .

Other roles include:

  • Responding to children's suggestions positively with consideration for all.
  • Helping to organise school events, initiatives and special occasions.
  • Meeting and welcoming visitors to the school.
  • Helping to take a lead in dealing with whole school issues such as preventing bullying and improving behaviour.
  • Being available as a buddy to any children in need of assistance.
  • Purchasing playtime equipment and other school resources.

Reading Ambassadors

Lowther reading ambassadors are a group of keen readers who enjoy recommending books and reading at home and at school.  They also help keep our amazing library up-to-date and organised. As well as this, they lead discussions about popular authors and decide on our school author of the month.  When needed, they support children who are not enjoying reading or need a little encouragement.

Digital Leaders

The children had a wonderful lesson, supported by our knowledgeable Digital Leaders. They shared their experience, computing skills and recommended good apps.
